A skilled Pulmonologist with experience in the management of respiratory infections, tuberculosis and other obstructive and restrictive respiratory diseases in adults and children, Dr. Nabil Ahamed Salim is trained in general as well as interventional Pulmonology. He takes an interest in the management of pleural diseases and interstitial lung diseases. He holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Pulmonology from Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore and an MBBS from MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna. He was an Assistant Professor and a Senior Resident at Government Medical College, Kannur, before joining Aster Medcity’s multispecialty wing. Dr. Nabil has also served as a Resident Medical Officer at various government healthcare facilities in Ernakulam including Primary Health Centre, Vazhakulam; Angamaly Taluk Hospital and Puthenvelikkara Taluk Hospital, before joining the Aster family.
