A cardiovascular thoracic surgeon who also has 4 years of experience in general surgery, Dr. George Varghese K is trained in the surgical management of heart diseases in adults. Besides an MBBS degree earned from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, he also holds a Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) in Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, and a Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. Dr. Varghese was a senior resident at GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi before joining the Aster Centre of Excellence in Cardiac Sciences.
